Project

The objective of this project was to migrate Primavera Online School’s outdated website to a new platform while executing a comprehensive redesign. Our goal was to build a high-performing, visually appealing site that would better serve both parents and students, offering intuitive navigation and modern features aligned with best practices in education web design.

My Role

I led the conceptualization and design for the entire site. My responsibilities also included the majority of front-end development, with particular attention to crafting a user experience that balanced aesthetic appeal with accessibility and ease of use for all visitors.

Goals

  • Improved website speed and accessibility across devices
  • Redesigned key information and enrollment forms to boost engagement
  • Developed a cohesive, professional brand identity for Primavera Online School
  • Created a dedicated ‘Education Hub’ page to support student learning

The Challenge

Primavera’s previous website was visually outdated and difficult to navigate, making it hard for users to find key information about enrollment, curriculum, and student resources.

The challenge was to create a modern, responsive design that would appeal to both audiences—parents seeking enrollment details and students needing learning tools—while ensuring accessibility and ease of use across all devices.

The Solution

I led the conceptualization of the homepage, establishing the visual and structural framework for the entire site, and handled the majority of front-end development.

The process began with research into leading online school websites to identify effective UX and design patterns, which informed the creation of a clean, approachable aesthetic focused on clarity and accessibility.

Key improvements included:

  • A streamlined navigation system for easier access to essential pages such as enrollment, curriculum, and support.
  • Consistent spacing and reusable components to maintain design harmony across all sections.
  • Engaging, student-focused imagery to foster a welcoming, inspiring atmosphere.
  • The creation of a new Education Hub—a centralized destination for students to access assignments, tools, and resources that support academic success.

The Results

The redesigned Primavera Online School website became faster, more visually engaging, and far more intuitive to navigate.

The modernized design elevated the school’s online presence and significantly improved user experience for both parents and students.

Continuous improvements were made using analytics and user feedback, ensuring the site evolved to meet the needs of its community.
