Window Wrap
The Project
The goal for this project was to create a striking large format window wrap for the front windows of Primavera Online School’s building, located on a main street. This new graphic was designed to complement and reflect the updated aesthetic of the recently redesigned website, ensuring a cohesive look for the school’s public-facing materials. The intent was to make the school’s presence unmistakable to anyone passing by.
My Role
As the sole graphic designer, my responsibility was to translate the refreshed website’s visual identity and scale it up for this prominent, highly visible location. I focused on incorporating the school mascot and utilizing bold colors to ensure the graphic would stand out and be easily noticed from the road.
Goals
- Design an eye-catching, memorable window wrap that grabs the attention of drivers and pedestrians.
- Highlight Primavera’s main offering: tuition-free education for grades K–12.
- Encourage viewers to visit the Primavera Online School website through clear, compelling messaging.
The Process
Given the building’s location on a busy street, it was essential that the design be highly visible and instantly recognizable. I made the school mascot a central feature and chose bold, vivid colors to make the graphic pop against the building’s facade. Throughout the project, I prioritized a clean layout that kept the key points and logo clear and prominent, ensuring the message was easily readable from a distance. The design choices were guided by the new website’s look and feel, aiming for consistency across digital and physical touchpoints.
This project pushed me to balance impactful visuals with concise, effective text and branding. Seeing the final design transform the look of the building and catch the attention of passersby was a rewarding reminder of how thoughtful design can communicate a message on a grand scale.
